Waadookodaading Ojibwe Language Institute exists to use Ojibwe medium education to strengthen the Anishinaabe people, language and culture. We envision a future where the longevity and quality of life for Anishinaabe people are made certain by their ability to think in the Ojibwe language and live our culture.
With nearly 100 Native American students being taught at our PK-12 Ojibwe Language Institute, it is inevitable that our children will continue to need support from trained teachers, quality curriculum, cultural learning activities, and dedicated staff and facilities. Like any good parent and community member, we want to respond with the best educational opportunities the students deserve – supporting them to thrive in school, family, community and their futures.
Oftentimes, Ojibwe language teaching and learning requires trained and committed teachers, engaged staff and quality facilities offering opportunities for growth and expansion to better serve all students. This is why we are developing the Waadookodaading, Inc. End of Year Giving Campaign- a designated campaign to support our students, teachers and future sustainability.
